Luis Picaso fell asleep while relaxing in his hotel room in Vallejo, California. When he woke up, his clothes were on fire. Picaso was able to put out the flames, but received 2nd and 3rd degree burns on more than half his body. How did this happen? His cell phone spontaneously combusted in his right front pocket, starting the fire. Sounds unbelievable, but this is not the first time this has happened. In 2004, the same thing happened to a 16-year-old girl in California. Conveniently for her, she wasn't asleep, and was able to extinguish the fire quicker. She escaped with only small, 2nd degree burns to her right buttock. I bet Picaso won't be taking naps anymore with a cell phone in his pocket.
